Driss Zakarya, Co-Founder
Dr. Driss Zakarya is a prominent expert in waste management and environmental science with more than 30 years of experience. He has held various academic and professional roles, primarily focusing on the effective management of solid waste and the potential for recycling within urban environments. As a researcher and expert in this field, he has contributed significantly to educating future generations about environmental sustainability and worked with several international organizations and companies and successfully assisted them in their environmental challenges.
Dr.Driss Zakarya has also founded EDIC in 2000, a Morocco-based environmental engineering consulting firm.
Ikram Zakarya, Co-Founder
Ikram Zakarya has 10 years experience in the green transition industry, across corporates and banks; of which 7 years in financing lending and advisory of infrastructure and energy projects.
Ikram has worked in France and the UK, and has covered various geographies and asset classes. She acquired her financing experience through her time spent at Banco Santander, Santander UK, Goldman Sachs, and Akereos Capital.
Ikram is UK FCA certified, and holds a master in energy engineering and an MSc in Energy management.
